Unique Engagement Ring - Titanium Tension-Set - Groove design with Satin Finish and Princess-cut Padparadscha Sapphire
This design was created to offer a modern and unique take on traditional prong settings. Tension settings suspend the stone in such a way to enable maximum light to hit the stone, allowing the stone to really sparkle. Many tension set rings are made thicker all the way around to accommodate the depth of the stone, but this ring has been sculpted to be thicker only at the top where the stone is held, making it an extraordinarily comfortable ring to wear.
This ring features a 6 mm square princess cut lab-created padparascha sapphire. Naturally occurring padparascha sapphires are rare and therefore quite expensive and can vary between pink and orange. These lab-created sapphires, which are more of an orange color, are identical in composition to the naturally mined sapphires but much more affordable. I have also used them because they are free from inclusions, consistent, and conflict-free. Including this stone in an engagement ring is somewhat unexpected and perfect for the couple that is looking for something unique and bold.
